Finally in Ukraine!

Hello Everyone!

Yesterday, we finally made it to Ukraine! We left Monday and expected to be here Wednesday, but Clinton had to get some things done so it delayed us a bit. But we made it!

In the past week getting here, I have seen beautiful places, weird places, stayed at a hostel, and at a home with some missionaries who help with IMB (International Mission Board). They were a very nice family and their red beans and rice were freaking amazing! I have also experienced new things like traveling by trains, buses, and subways! It was pretty neat!
Some beautiful places I have seen were in Budapest and Debrecen, Hungary.
Those are a few of the beautiful buildings I saw.

In Germany, we had a 5 hour layover, so we went and toured. But we didn't see much. There was one street full of bars, casinos, strip clubs, and just lustful places. It's hard to not think that some of those women exploit themselves because they want "love" or need money and food. Some might have even been trafficked. It's so sad.
Those are some of the places we saw. Praying for these places.

In a few minutes we will be headed to a camp to help set up for camp that starts Monday! This coming week we will have Jr. high kids! It will be my first time sleeping in a tent and I'm kinda looking forward to it! Praying I will see God move this coming week!

Please be in prayer for me as I am in Ukraine this coming month. I want to see God move.

Thanks!

Be love, Show love!

  1. Oh man, Tonya -- you are one rad lady, yo. Grateful I got to collide with you the other night. Excited to hear your story in an upcoming walk when you get back.
